When: 6.30pm, Wednesday 18th April 2018
Where: Studio 3, Clerkenwellbeing – 178 Goswell Road
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for anybody with an interest in the role acupuncture, Chinese herbs and nutrition can play in improving both female and male fertility but it is particularly suitable for those who are:
- Thinking about having a baby or trying to conceive
- Have been trying to conceive for some time
- Are just commencing the assisted pathway or have had multiple assisted experiences.
Acupuncture and fertility
Both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs have been used for centuries to improve fertility in both genders. In fact, more and more scientific studies are being conducted, proving it’s effectiveness on it’s own and in conjunction with Western Medicine.
Acupuncture focuses on helping the body to self-correct and improves the function and health of the reproductive organs as well as the body’s entire system.
For those looking to tackle fertility issues, it may offer a compelling alternative means of doing so, particularly for those keen to avoid assisted conception.
Nutrition and fertility
A growing body of evidence suggests eating the right kind of foods plays a significant role in increasing fertility. This is because nutrients from our diet are used to produce hormones, repair and build cells, and produce healthy eggs and sperm.
What you eat, drink, breathe, do, and how stressed you are in the months before planning to conceive can potentially impact your chances of a healthy conception and pregnancy. This is true for both women and men as the egg and sperm used in conception are direct products of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
In this workshop, Registered Nutritionist Rivkah Maya will offer insight into nutrition’s role in fertility, providing an overview of how it may impact your chances of conception and having both a healthy pregnancy and baby.
50% off initial acupuncture consultation and 10% off nutritional therapy package for attendees
