Ayurveda and Yoga are inseparable branches of the same tree of ancient wisdom. Ayurveda describes 5 Elements,
into which all of nature can be categorised and by understanding these elements, we are able to find balance in our own lives.
During this 6-week course we will explore the Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether or Space and consider
how these Elements are present in our yoga practice, through physical Asana and also through our mental state and our attitude.
We will also utilise Essential Oils to include olfactory resonance with the Element being explored each
week before exploring a fully integrated session in the final week.
Jeni Howland will deliver this intimate workshop with a limited number of participants in order to ensure individual attention.
All participants will be given further reading advice, handouts and free samples of Essential Oils in order to
be able to deepen their practice between the weekly sessions.
This is an open level course and there will be options for all levels. Beginners are welcome but should have some
experience of yoga. No prior knowledge of Ayurvedic or Yoga philosophy is required.
