Tim runs this drop in meditation group to provide a moment of calm at the start of a week. The group is open to everyone, from beginners to more experienced meditators. Tim uses a range of meditation techniques in the group including focusing on the breath, visualisations and a period of reflection to provide a relaxing space and time in the midst of the working day.
Understanding the need for dynamic movement but also to slow down, replenish and allow for deep rest. Starting with a flowing, dynamic and strengthening Vinyasa Yoga (Yang), and flowing effortlessly into second of half of our class: a wonderfully nourishing, releasing and restoring Yin Yoga practice.

A mindful practice, holding supported postures for a longer periods of time, targeting the deep connective tissue and fascia of the body. A truly nourishing practice and deeper release of physical and mental tension.
Carolyn has practiced yoga for many years and is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher who trained on the London Yoga Teaching Training Course. Her classes aim to create an inclusive and safe but challenging environment where everyone is welcome and supported to learn at their own pace. Carolyn teaches Hatha yoga in the Scaravelli tradition with a focus on improving strength, balance and alignment by careful attention to the breath and gravity. Over time students learn to notice where they hold tension and how they can release it to find ease and freedom, especially in the spine.

Bridget’s teaching is rooted in the tradition of Vanda Scaravelli which is centred around the relationship between gravity, breath and the spine. This tradition adapts the yoga asanas, or postures, to each individual physique in a grounded and hands-on exploration of the body’s natural movement patterns, working with gravity and the breath to release tension, free the spine and experience greater flexibility, strength and balance.

Julie has been teaching yoga since 1987. Her teaching is grounded in the Satyananda tradition, and her classes, which include asana, breath work, meditation and Yoga Nidra, are suitable for students who wish to deepen their practice. Julie’s experience of breast cancer in 1993 left her with a deeper trust in the power of yoga to help us face our challenges and to heal our lives, and her teaching focus since then has been on yoga as a healing therapy. She has offered yoga to those who have cancer since 1999, and she delivers the British Wheel of Yoga teacher training module “Yoga for People Living with Cancer”.
Birthing is emotionally and physically challenging. With so many things going on with your body and mind, a postnatal yoga class can be the perfect place to acknowledge and accept the changes. The sessions can be carried out from six weeks after birth and are tailored depending on how soon after birth it takes place. Although the class focuses mainly on you as a new mum, your baby will be right there beside you and the session is structured so that your baby is part of the class too. Ideal for babies aged 8 weeks until they are actively crawling.

Dave’s approach will help bring the best out of your practice and his gentle nudges will take you to edge of your ability. You will leave each session with more energy than when you started!
