Zoe came to Pilates after undergoing a hip replacement in her early 20s. This changed how she understood the body, physical pain and the effect fear has on learning to move freely again after an operation. Pilates was at the fore front of her rehabilitation to begin to move with balance again. After eight years of practicing Pilates she knew that she wanted to teach and guide others through their own personal journeys of rehabilitation, leading her to an intense teaching training programme with Anoushka Boone at Pilates in Motion.
Her classes are a holistic approach to the classical Pilates work. With the belief that every movement is a whole body movement, her teaching is deep, strong and focused. The foundations are rooted in the classical work of Joseph Pilates focusing on the principles he believed in, coordination, breath, flow, precision, control and balance.
She aims to carefully monitor the details in the bodies of her students and works strongly with her hands and visual cueing. Zoe has a kind and approachable nature and loves sharing her passion of Pilates with all her students.
