Lorna first discovered yoga back in 1998 and since then has used the combination of the physical practice, breath work, meditation, mindfulness and yoga philosophy, to help navigate the challenges in life. It is these tools she would like to share with others.
Lorna is an authorised 500 hour Yoga Alliance teacher and teaches both Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa. Lorna has a regular Mysore style self-practice and also enjoys incorporating the many and varied styles of yoga, that she has learnt over the years, into her own personal practice and teaching. Lorna creates a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals are encouraged to work at their own level and pace.
Lorna is also a school teacher and she has been working with schools to integrate yoga and mindfulness into the curriculum. She has seen first-hand the benefits of these transformative practices.
