Josie’s teaching approach stems from a deep-rooted knowledge of anatomy and physiology drawing on her 10 years of experience as an osteopath. Having been taken to her first yoga class by her mother as a teenager, she believes that everyone can benefit from yoga and teaches all ages including pre- and post- natal, kids and seniors. Her classes focus on breathing and moving with ease as the key to developing core control, optimal alignment and transformative postural awareness. Josie trained at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in the late nineties where she now teaches undergraduates.
Josie continues to expand her post-graduate education which includes cranial osteopathy, pilates rehabilitation, pre-and post-natal, yoga therapy, and intensive training with Max Strom and Bo Forbes. She is known to guide her students through a safe, grounded and injury-preventing practice that is both light-hearted and deeply therapeutic.
This extensive combination of professional training and yoga and pilates teaching contributes to her balanced, well-informed and highly therapeutic approach to wellbeing.
