Full time receptionist position at busy central London chiropractic and complementary health clinics and yoga studios. The position is predominantly located at our Goswell Rd location, although some shifts may be at our Islington branch (15 min walk away). This position is suitable for a friendly, practical person who is interested in developing a career in the business/management side of the health care industry, and enjoys being part of a lively team.

Starting salary: –

• 17 – 20k per annum depending on experience
• 4 weeks paid holiday per annum running from April to April pro rata
• Paid Bank Holidays
• Free chiropractic care and yoga classes
• Review after three months

Duties: –

• Opening the building checking and making ready on time to greet first patients/clients
• Welcoming patients/clients and attending to their needs whilst waiting for their appointments/classes
• Booking appointments and classes
• Taking new patients details
• Typing and scanning letters/case details
• Attending to general administrative tasks
• Keeping the reception area tidy
• Writing timetable on blackboard
• Making sure building is in good order – e.g. checking toilets/kitchens, treatment rooms and studios folding and putting away towels gowns
• Balancing days takings and putting in safe
• Making sure treatment rooms and studios are ready for the next day
• Closing up the building and making secure
• Attending to any tasks requested by management
• A designated area of business to look after – such as ordering equipment or social media posting depending on skill set – delegated by line manager
