Clerkenwellbeing is all about growing a community of expert therapists and teachers within the field of health and wellbeing. We are invested in helping people to find their way from couch to class and beyond. Our concept is UNIQUE in that we STRIVE to find the best combination of therapy, exercises and further learning tailored specifically to the need of each and every client.
The concept of Clerkenwellbeing developed when CWB founders Charlotte, Francesca and Shaheeda had been working together successfully for many years combining the mutually beneficial effects of Chiropractic, Traditional Chinese medicine and Therapeutic massage. They saw the success that a combination of therapies in close communication with each other could provide, and wanted to expand the offer to an even more integrated and holistic approach to wellbeing. For many years Charlotte had been advising clients to take up Yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong and more, in addition to the therapies they were receiving at the clinic. She noticed that people were often put off by big classes, inexperienced teachers and an idea that they were in some way not capable of taking part in such a class. She was frustrated by not being able to advise a local and suitable environment and so decided to set about creating it herself.
Our practitioners, therefore, may offer a wide range of styles, but all take a therapeutic approach to working with the mind, body and soul. So even if you think you can’t do yoga or Pilates because you are a complete beginner, are too old or young, and have back pain, you can rest assured that you will be well looked after, and you too will be able to benefit.
By offering yoga, Pilates, meditation and the other classes at Clerkenwellbeing, our aim is to help you to learn how to adjust and maintain your own mind/body alignment, for long-term, sustainable, health and wellness. Having said this however, we are all still here for Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture and much more if you need us!
