- Practitioners must show relevant original up to date certificates of qualifications and insurance before hiring a room, and provide copies to be kept at the Clinic.
- For regular bookings of 4hrs per week or more, for a minimum commitment of 3 months, a 10% discount may be available.
- Reception services are an additional 10% of takings (required).
Terms and Conditions
- Workshops require 35% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 65% must be paid before the date of the event.
- For ongoing classes, one months rent must be paid by standing order, beginning on the first of the month.
- If you fall behind in your rental payments by more than one month, your classes / studio booking may be cancelled.
- For regular bookings with a minimum commitment of 6 months or a year, a discount may be available. Please ask.
- Please let us know how many people you expect to be attending your events. If it is more than 20 people in S1 or more than 10 people in S2, there will be an additional charge of £10 per person.
- Reception services are an additional 10% of takings (recommended). This would include: use of Mind Body Online booking software and phone app, taking bookings and payments, including credit card payments (all card accepted apart from AMEX), taking messages, answering routine questions as well as making it easier for us to refer clients (we can’t guarantee we will be able to refer clients, but we try to encourage cross referral whenever possible).
- If you decide to use our booking system, earnings will then be paid monthly into your bank account (minus 10% reception services).
- A minimum of 2 months notice is required before starting and ending any contract.
- Cancellations of studio bookings are non-refundable, unless more than two month notice is given, in which case 35% of the value of the cancelled dates is considered non refundable (to cover administration costs and loss of income from turning away other potential clients), and 65% can be given as credit towards future bookings.
- Any electronic devices (such as projectors, computers, phone chargers, speakers, extension leads, catering equipment etc) that you or your representatives bring into the building must be PAT compliant, otherwise, in the event that they may cause a fire that you may be liable for.
- Please do not take any food or drinks other than water into the carpeted studio. Any damage will be noted and may be charged for. You and your clients are welcome to use the kitchen and library to eat in, but please not these are communal areas shared by all users of the building.
- Food and drinks are allowed to be taken into the studio, however any damage or spillages may be charged for. You and your clients are welcome to use the kitchen facilities, but please note this is a communal area and shared by all users of the building.
- Alcohol should not be consumed on the premises without our written prior consent.
- Week day bookings are available from 07.45 – 21:00. Weekend bookings are available from 09.00 – 17.00. If you require rental outside of these hours please email us to request.
- Your rental time includes set up and clear up times, before and after your event. You may incur an additional charge if you go over these times. Please be aware that there may be others event occurring shortly after your booking has ended.
- If you wish to play recorded music during your event it is your responsibility to ensure you have a PRS license.
- Please vacate the premises promptly.
- The use of candles and incense is not permitted.

Clerkenwellbeing is a community of practitioners dedicated to sharing our skills and knowledge to raise the well being of Central Londoners. We work hard to promote each other to our existing clients and networks, and expect you to do the same. Most of our advertising is therefore through word of mouth through our existing networks of experienced practitioners who have years of marketing experience behind them.
We also invest heavily in our online presence through the website, www.clerkenwellislingtonclinics.co.uk and through our social media platforms: instagram, facebook and twitter. We work hard to ensure our websites are optimised by updating them regularly and employing professionals to ensure we get the top spots for Google searches for each therapy in our locations. We also have regular newsletters for both the clinics and Clerkenwellbeing where we feature different articles and promote workshops, classes and other events.
Yes. Once you have paid a deposit and you are booked in the timetable, please submit anything you want put on our websites including: your biography, a photo of yourself and any other photos/logos of your business, and a brief description of your services/classes/workshops at Clerkenwellbeing. We are happy to include a link to your website and hope you to reciprocate.
We hold regular open days from time to time. Please contact us with ideas and suggestions of what you would like to do that day to promote your services and all of us in general.
Yes. There is space in the reception area of the ground floor for fliers and we advertise what is happening on our large noticeboard at the reception area.There is also some limited space for fliers at our other clinic in Prebend St. If you are working at the Clinic or Clerkenwellbeing, or have an event planned with us, you are welcome to add your own flyers and posters. If you need help designing and printing flyers please speak to us as we may be able to recommend professionals to you.
In some instances we also print flyers for specific promotions and selectively pay for professional distribution of some flyers.
We use Mind Body online software to create our interactive timetable that allows clients to search for, book and pay for services online. We can administer your bookings through mind body online at a cost of 10% of the takings from your event. You are also welcome to use your own means for taking payments and bookings for your event.
