Simone has had a full time dedicated yoga practice for the last 7 years. While her personal practice is mostly Vinyasa based, she is certified to teach Vinyasa as well as Pregnancy and Post Natal Yoga through Yoga Alliance and Yoga London and is also a Birth Doula.
When she first fell in love with yoga and established her own continuous practice, she was fortunate enough to have an amazing teacher who inspired her both on and off the mat, taking her yoga practice to a new level by encouraging her to becoming a yoga teacher. Her teacher also happened to be pregnant at the time and through spending many classes practicing together Simone knew that teaching yoga to and supporting women during pregnancy, birth and postnatally was definitely the direction her teaching path was headed in.
Simone has seen first-hand the amazing benefits Pregnancy & Postnatal yoga can have for mums. Through her classes she hopes she can pass on the knowledge and inspiration for having a fit and active pregnancy and a calm and relaxed labour, while creating a space for mums-to-be to focus on and feel supported in their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their babies by using yoga as a way to nurture and calm the mind and body and stay strong and flexible during pregnancy and after birth. Her Mums & babies post-natal yoga class is specifically designed for mums to get back into their bodies after birth and to feel confident to move and breathe freely while being able to spend quality time with their babies in an open and safe environment.
Simone is now a fully qualified Doula.
