Yin Yoga 18.15 - 19.15 PM

Having worked as an inner city primary school teacher for the past 7 years I found yoga to be a great way to unwind, especially during stressful times. I have been regularly practising yoga since I was a teenager and am passionate about the benefits that yoga can bring in all areas of our lives. I think it is essential in a frantic and stressful environment and should be done by people of all ages.
Recently I decided to make changes in my career and go to Nepal to complete my 200 hours of Yoga Teacher training and take it from a hobby into a daily way of life. We studied the yoga philosophy in depth, though it is very deep field to go into and requires a lifetime of study. I particularly enjoyed meditating and pranayama (breathing practice) as it really calms the mind and helps with maintaining healthy emotional wellbeing.
My main reason for teaching yoga is to invite people to delve within and focus on their breath and feel a sense of wellbeing and lightness. It is great to be able to feel the tranquillity within and not confine our minds to a series of thoughts or emotions.
