London life can be busy and stressful and we can often find ourselves running on empty, with racing minds and exhausted bodies, unaware of how to turn on the “off” switch.
This gentle workshop will look at the mind/body connection when we get stressed and explore therapeutic yoga techniques to bring balance back to our everyday lives.
Within it we will take the ancient “pawanmuktasana” yoga practice, mindfully easing open each joint in the body from tip to toe. As energy flows more freely through the body we are left feeling deeply relaxed yet revitalized. Combined with breath-work and restorative practices this session is the perfect way to end your week and feel fresh for the new one ahead.
Having worked in both project and events management, I understand the impact that juggling a busy London life can have on both the mind and body.Incorporating yoga and holistic therapies into my life has provided me with an essential and positive balance between the pressures of work and the pursuit of relaxation, health and happiness. With an ever increasing fascination in both bodywork and yoga came the natural progression to take my studies further. Now, as a massage therapist and yoga teacher, I enjoy passing the benefits on to others.I have recently trained as a yoga therapist in order to enable people to explore the therapeutic benefits of yoga for a wide range of conditions.
