YIN YANG SUMMER HAVEN SCHEDULE
14.00 to 14.45
VINYASA FLOW
We will take you through a 45 min flow that will work on flexibility, strength and developing body awareness.
14.45 to 15.05
PRANAYAMA and MEDITATION
We will use a few breathing techniques that have been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, lower and stabilise blood pressure, increase energy levels, relax muscles and improve sleep. Followed by a guided mediation where you will learn a simple technique that you can use to develop your own personal meditation practice.
15.05 to 15.35
SOUL SUSTENENCE YIN YOGA
Relax the body and soothe the mind with a mini Yin practice. You will work deeply into your body with longer held poses, which target the connective tissues (ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascia networks) so that you can start to get rid of emotional blockages and feel the energy flow through the body. Your nervous system will slow down and this leaves space for rest and renewal of all the major organs.
15.35 to 16.00
AROMOTHERAPY YOGA NIDRA
Allow your body to fall into a deep sense of rest and relaxation, as your nervous system calms down and the body learns how to release and let go. All you have to do is lie down, follow the voice that is guiding you and receive the benefits while the unconscious mind is absorbing the practice and the relaxing aromas bring a sense of peace and tranquillity. It is said that a 3-minute Yoga Nidra practise is equivalent to 2-4 hours of sleep.
***Please arrive at the venue at 13.45 as the class will start promptly at 14.00. ***
