Ula felt drawn to yoga for no specific reason for a long time even before taking a class. She attended her first yoga session in her late teens but it wasn’t until 2007 that she started coming to classes regularly. Since then she has never stopped practising and has had many teachers in different styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Kundalini, Himalayan and many more. Years of experimenting with different traditions helped her to gain insight into the various approaches to yoga and come to the conclusion that yoga is individual and we should adapt our practice to how we feel and what we need right now, at this particular moment of our life.
Greatly inspired by all her wonderful teachers she realized that there is not a single tradition which she wanted to follow, but instead she wanted to learn how to seamlessly blend various styles and share her passion for yoga with others. As the result at the beginning of 2012 she started a new chapter of her yoga journey by signing up for British Wheel of Yoga foundation course followed by the BWYQ Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga.
Yoga has been truly significant and transformative force in Ula’s life. It has brought her inner peace, presence and stillness allowing her to experience the depths of being in any given moment. It has helped her to manage her chronic health problems and taught her how to navigate more consciously through the turbulence of her private and professional life. Ula is deeply grateful for having found yoga and she wants to share her love for it with others. As a yoga teacher she hopes to help other people discover all the wonderful ways yoga can help and transform their lives on and off the mat.
Ula is also a Reki Practitioner currently offering Reiki Sessions at the client’s home.
